LIIAR

LANGUAGE: The language of the video or song will depend upon the genre of the music and what the audience is about. For example the language of a pop song would be very different to a rock video as the ideology would be different therefore the artist would want to represent different things. The song i am making my video to is under the genre folk rock therefore the language would fit to this theme.

INSTITUTION: The institution is the people in charge of making videos, such as the record label the artist is signed to. The label would need to market and sell the song, so by making a promotional video for the released song this will expose the song and the album to audiences.

IDEOLOGY: The reason for music videos is simply to promote the song but in a different way than the radio it gets the audience to listen to the song but also watch the video therefore the song is been distributed in more ways than one.

AUDIENCE: This is who the video is aimed at again been based on the genre the video as well as the song needs to attract and create the right target audience.

Representation: The way the artist in the video act and are dressed is thought about deeply, as they need to be represented to the audience in the way they want to be.
