Audience Feedback

I created a questionnaire that i handed to people of all ages, including people i knew and people who I didn't in order for the results to be varied. I asked 8 questions about my work to see how other people viewed it. This was the original copy created in Microsoft word I did get 15 people the questinaire but alot of the results were the same sort of thing so I collected them all and chose the ones that varied from age, to answers to get a varied yet strong set of results.

These were my results:
1.After watching My music video what genre do you believe it is?
I would say pop, maybe or pop rock as the artsist is a girl shes pretty and doesnt look to like rock!

2. how old are you?, and would you watch this out of choice? 16, and I wouldnt choose to, but I would turn it of if it came on the TV

3. Do you think the video is convincing as real media text? yes parts of it look real, but there could be some improvements

4. What music channel would you expect to see this on? Like MTV music maybe

5. Do you believe that my music video, and ancillary texts look convincing together as a media campaign? yes I think they look good altogether and look like there from the same campaign.

6. what magazine would you think to see the advertisements in? NME

7. Do you think you could see the Digi Pak on the shelves in music stores? Im not sure because I dont go in music stores often

8. On the whole how successful out of ten do you think all of it together would rate? I would say 7

2. how old are you?, and would you watch this out of choice? 45 and no probably not only because I dont like the music.

3. Do you think the video is convincing as real media text? Yes I really do think its convincing, with a few touches here and there I think its fantastic

4. What music channel would you expect to see this on? One of them ones on sky.

5. Do you believe that my music video, and ancillary texts look convincing together as a media campaign? I do beleive that.

6. what magazine would you think to see the advertisements in? I dont really read music magazines, so i couldnt say a percific one, but i could see the advertisments been in a succesful magazine.

7. Do you think you could see the Digi Pak on the shelves in music stores? Yes defiantly i think the Cd/DVD covers look very good.

8. On the whole how successful out of ten do you think all of it together would rate? I would give it an 8. 8 and a half.

4. What music channel would you expect to see this on? Probably like MTV or maybe even kerrang.

5. Do you believe that my music video, and ancillary texts look convincing together as a media campaign? I really like the CD cover and also think they all fit together as a campaign really well.

6. what magazine would you think to see the advertisements in? Id expect to see it in, Q or NME something like that.

7. Do you think you could see the Digi Pak on the shelves in music stores? Probably yes, if not then deffinatly that sort of idea.

3. Do you think the video is convincing as real media text? The video is ok. so maybe

4. What music channel would you expect to see this on? One that I wouldnt watch

5. Do you believe that my music video, and ancillary texts look convincing together as a media campaign? They go together well, like the pictures and stuff.

6. what magazine would you think to see the advertisements in? A rock one

I then did a video blog on a group of people that my music video would be aimed at. The liked the idea of talking about it rather than writing on a questionaire so this way I would get better answers from them. This Audience feedback was really important as the age of the people answering the questions would be included in my Target Audience.
